I've mentioned before (in one of my blogs, possibly not this one) that the children's books by Julia Donaldson are my very favorite books.
The Gruffalo seems to be the most famous, though my favorite is actually
Room on the Broom. However, in a completely unrelated surprise, I found this in my daily web-comics:

P. S. It's "The Smartest Giant in Town", not "The Spiffiest Giant in Town"! Just like it's "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", not "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone"! Gah, it bugs me that publishers feel the need to do that, sometimes.
