So in my continued randomness...

...I actually broadcast my first gameplay stream today. My twitch link is here:

http://www.twitch.tv/neko128

And I streamed Portal 2 for a couple of hours. If you want to watch me be random and strange, feel free to subscribe - I somehow doubt it'll be used immensely often, but hey, you never know. If I get requests maybe I'll do it more than twice in my life.

...Once she insisted I add features, she got this... Errr, thing.

Remi requested a portrait of Frieda Kahlo, and this was the masterpiece she got!

Requested by Remi - a Zombie Kitten with a bow!

A much older one I'd forgotten about because it was stored in a different place...

HOW many?

One I completed 2014-03-19 based on a quote from the most recent Wait Wait Don't Tell Me...

Sunday, April 27, 2014

An attempt to do something more... Serious, I guess. I'm not happy with how it came out.

Saturday, April 26, 2014

Another bunny - clearly far more deadly than the last one.

Friday, April 25, 2014

Possibly my favourite of my own drawings.

Thursday, April 24, 2014

I mean, obviously it's an Eagle - I just don't remember why...

Wednesday, April 23, 2014

Another kitteeeeeeeeeee!

Tuesday, April 22, 2014

I wonder how dangerous this rabbit is? Do you think it's hungry?

Monday, April 21, 2014

More Gumdo-inspired...

Sunday, April 20, 2014

Definitely Japanese-inspired.

Saturday, April 19, 2014

Also, very simplistic hills.

Friday, April 18, 2014

I must have had a thing for sunrises while drawing these...

Thursday, April 17, 2014

I guess this was inspired from a day I went to Martial Arts?

Wednesday, April 16, 2014

Self-explanatory.

This picture is kindof amazing.

It must be explained, that this series was something I did while a friend was in Germany, as a way to cheer her up for being a bit homesick.

...To the best of my knowledge, she did not show any of them to someone actually from Germany.

Today was a big day for mail, apparently. Sent two postcards; one greeting card (of sorts); an order form for school pictures; my federal taxes (New York required me to e-file them); a notebook; and three small packages. What we got? A car insurance notice for Nina (who has neither a license nor a car), and a credit card offer.

:-(

I feel like this is more of a checklist than trivia...

I'm so tempted to just go down and do each of them.

Okay, not so adventurous.

Both amazing and vaguely scary...

I think my favourite quote is this:

What if the rock would have hit Helstrup or his diving partner? Amundson said the rock would have cut him in half.
“Imagine a 5 kilo rock hitting you in the chest at 300 kilometers per hour,” Amundson says in the video. “That would have led to quite an accident investigation.”

I had a little adventure theme going there for a while.

Axes and maces and swords, oh my!

This video:

is fun. Now I really want to take my Kagum and start smashing things...

...

Hmmmm.

Peaceful

What Facebook Sees...

Relationship changes are more predictable than most people think:

http://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2014/02/when-you-fall-in-love-this-is-what-facebook-sees/283865/

Every once in a while, I'm made sad by the fact I don't think it's safe to post all my thoughts on this public blog. I haven't put anything on the private one since August, though I'm half-heartedly forming a post that may go up today... But still. It's sad I don't feel comfortable doing so.

Won't change the fact - there are things I'm not willing to discuss quite so publically as a rule. But still.

So I guess I'll post something in the private one? *shrugs* Why not?

I don't know what day this was, but must have been in the summer...

KITTEEEEEEE

My Two Phones

Since it came up yesterday, yes, my new phone is bigger than my old one - wider, taller, and a touch thicker. For all that, it feels lighter, and more ephemeral. Not sure if it's actually more fragile, or just comes across that way when I'm carrying it around.

I need to get me some screen protectors and a case. >.<

So I got into work this morning...

...and unsurprisingly, the goddamn sun was glaring straight through my window onto my screen, glaring on it. Like it does every damned day. I started to close the blinds, and Cheryl asked me not to, because "It's too dark" with the two blinds closed and "we have the best seats in the building".

First, if it's too dark with two of the four blinds closed that light our area and the overhead lights on full, you need your eyes checked. And second, I've been asking to move since I got given this seat. I'd gladly be somewhere else - somewhere that doesn't have a direct damned line from the sun to my computer screen. You can enjoy your seat all you want, I've been begging for months to be somewhere else.

Fuck this day.

Bacon is a killer!

Credit where credit is due...

...Modern companies really know how to move shit when they want to. Ordered my new phone at 8:40 yesterday morning; it was boxed and labelled in Google's warehouse (Mountain View, CA) at 12:21 AM this morning; UPS picked it up and scanned it in at 2:01 AM; at 7:15 AM, it was scanned in to Latham, NY; and at 11:30, it was at my door. Less than 27 hours from hitting "Confirm" on the web site to its being delivered. I know that "next day" is common enough these days, but actually seeing the timeline for some reason makes it more impressive to me... Especially the 5-hour window from warehouse on one coast to warehouse on the other.
